Clayton Downtown Redevelopment Incentive Grant (CDRIG)
This incentive program is meant to encourage rehabilitation of older buildings within Clayton’s downtown commercial district and infill growth with new commercial development. Within certain boundaries the Town, property and individuals can be eligible for a grant in the amount of the
difference between the pre-construction tax value and the post-construction tax value – which in some cases could be thousands! Check out all the details here.
2010 Downtown Clayton Master Plan
The Town of Clayton initiated this project to help direct the design of buildings and sites with the Downtown area. It is intended to promote a quality oriented area that serves as the social cultural hub of the Town of Clayton.
