The Town of Clayton is always looking to work with great people!  Consistent with the Town of Clayton Purchasing Policy and NC General Statutes 143-129, we often seek bids (formal or informal), proposals, or statements of qualification for pending projects and purchases. Here you'll find some of the major Town projects we're exploring, working on, or have already recently completed.  Check out the list and if you're a qualified company, send us your proposal...we look forward to working with you!

OPEN:  

  • The Town of Clayton is seeking bids on two projects: a Streets Project, including water and sewer line replacements, sidewalks asphalt/curb/gutter work on Horne Street in Downtown Clayton and a Parking Project to expand parking at Town Hall. Click here to read the bid documents. BIDS will be received until 2 p.m., Thursday, August 16, 2018, and then be opened publicly. A prebid conference will be held at Town Hall at 2 p.m., Monday, July 30, 2018 on the second floor conference room across from our Planning Department (Rm. 223). Each BID must be delivered in a sealed envelope, addressed to Town of Clayton Engineering Department, 111 East Second Street in Clayton, NC 27520. or mailed to P.O. Box 879 Clayton, NC 27528.
