Electric Use Credits (Load Management)

Piggy bank with moneyWho doesn’t want a credit on their utility bill?  This is a FREE and voluntary energy-savings program that gives you a credit on your bill.

A small Load Control Device is connected to your AC, Water Heater, or Heat Strips, or all three – as long as they are powered by electricity and NOT gas. The device is controlled by a radio signal and is activated during the few times that we experience a high demand for power. This brief interruption reduces your power usage which lowers your bill, and you also receive credits on your bill for participating in the program.

Savings are up to $60 a year for electric water heaters and $48 for heat pump/heat strips. Under the 25% Program, customers can save up to $24 a year with Air Conditioner Compressor Control. Under the 50% Program, you can earn savings of $40 a year with Air Conditioner Compressor Control. To learn more click on the items below or call us at 919-553-1530 to sign up today!
