A long-time Clayton Firefighter and twice Town Councilman has passed away.

Billy Irven Daughtry  was volunteer fireman with Clayton for decades and served two terms on Clayton Town Council, from 1975 to 1979. 

Daughtry died yesterday, January 7, 2018, after a brief illness. He was 79.
