Town of Clayton Upgrades Online Job Listings

11/12/2015

It just got even easier to apply for a job with the Town of Clayton.

We’ve rolled out a new website, powered by Government Jobs, where you can see all of our open jobs and easily submit your application.

See a job you like? Click on the job title, and you’ll get a full description of the duties and responsibilities of the position – along with a breakdown of the levels education and experience we’re looking for.

Think you’re qualified?  Click the green “Apply” button at the top of the page, and Government Jobs will prompt you to create a new account. You can use your LinkedIn or Facebook profile to signup, or use your email address to create a brand new username and password for the site.

You’ll notice a lot of perks when you log in to your new account. For starters, Government Jobs will automatically save your job application and résumé to its secure servers when you apply for a job. That way, you’ll be able to apply for more than one job with the Town of Clayton without having to reenter everything from scratch. You can even tweak your application to fit each specific job opening.

Don’t see a position that interests you right now? Click the link to fill out an employment interest form, and you’ll get a list of the job categories we have at the Town of Clayton. The options range from engineering, library and accounting to law enforcement, human resources and custodial work. Just check the boxes that match your interests, and you’ll automatically get an email when we post a job that suits your skills.

Right now, we’ve got job listings for an electric line technician, a property maintenance technician and a senior electric line technician. Those salaries range from $33,400 up to a maximum of $71,500.

If you have any issues in applying for a position, call 1-855-524-5627 for Government Jobs’ applicant support department.
